In 2025, the ratio of government expenditure to GDP in the Seychelles stood at 32.73 percent. Between 1983 and 2025, the figure dropped by 15.2 percentage points, though the decline followed an uneven course rather than a steady trajectory. From 2025 to 2031, the ratio will rise by 0.74 percentage points, showing an overall upward trend with periodic ups and downs.
