This statistic illustrates the consumption rate of meat products in Italy in the year 2016, broken down by type of meat product. Over the period of consideration, the Italian market experienced a major fall in the consumption of processed meat in the form of sausages (-16.4 percent) and canned meat (-9.9 percent). Instead, the consumption of poultry and rabbit meat has increase of one percent and three percent respectively.
