The top three included companies, such as Amazon and Walmart. Based on revenue, however, Walmart Inc. was the leading retailer by far, generating over 572 billion U.S. dollars in 2021. In that year, Costco Wholesale Corporation reached a revenue of more than 195 billion U.S. dollars.
