This chart shows the degree of acceptance of same-sex cohabiting couples having the same civil rights as married couples among the Italian population in 2011, sorted by age group. According to this statistic, nearly one in four Italians aged between 18 and 74 strongly disagreed with the statement that a homosexual cohabiting couple should have the same rights as a married couple. This view was shared by ** percent of the age group and by ** percent of the age group.
