Department 13 includes textile preparation, spinning, weaving, refining textiles and clothing, manufacture of ready-made textile products other than clothing (such as household linen, blankets, carpets, ropes and cords etc.) The cultivation of natural fibers is integrated in department 1, the manufacture of synthetic fibers as a chemical process belongs to the sub-class 20.60.0. The manufacture of clothing refers to department 14 in this classification. Department 14 includes all tailoring (ready-made or custom-made clothing) with all materials (leather, woven fabric, crocheted and knitted material etc.) for all articles of clothing (such as outerwear, men’s, women’s and children’s underwear, work, city or casual wear) and clothing accessories. Differentiation between clothing for adults and children does not take place, or between modern and traditional clothing. Department 14 furthermore includes the manufacture of fur goods (pelts and fur clothing).
