As of January 2017, ** percent of responding Canadian retail business owners said they described themselves as proactive in their attitude towards fraud or scams, indicating that they had policies and procedures in place to prevent, detect and deal with fraud and scams. The same was true for ** percent of businesses in the financial services sector.
