Vipps was the most popular mobile payment app in Norway in 2017. ** percent of the respondents reported to be using Vipps in the evaluated period. PayPal Mobile followed, with ** percent of the respondents using it, while mCash and MobilePay were used respectively by **** and **** percent of the interviewed Norwegians. ** percent, however, answered that they did not use any mobile payment apps that year. As of 2018, ** percent of the Norwegian consumers preferred card payment as a mobile payment method whereas ** percent preferred PayPal and ** preferred invoice or Vipps.

 How do online shoppers pay? 

    Card payment was also the most preferred online payment method among online buyers in Norway in 2018, according to ** percent of the respondents. PayPal was preferred by ** percent of the Norwegians that year.

 Online payments in the Nordics 

    Overall, card payment was the most popular payment method when online shopping in the Nordic countries in 2018. ** percent of the interviewed Danes preferred card payments. Norway ranked second, by share of respondents who preferred card payment that year – ** percent of the respondents.
