Data on the cruising speed of the Embraer ERJ 145 Family was not available and therefore it does not appear on this chart.

This statistic shows the most common families of commercial airliners (according to Ascend Worldwide data published in the Guardian) ranked by cruising speed. The cruising speed of an aircraft is usually the speed at which it is most economic to fly, slightly faster than the speed which allows for its maximum range, but also slower than the aircraft's top speed. Of these aircraft, only the Boeing 777 family had an average cruising speed in excess of *** knots, with its speed of *** knots translating to roughly *** kilometers per hour.
