This statistic displays the share of cyber security spending evaluation methods used by businesses in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. Among all respondents, ** percent reported to have evaluated cyber security spending through measuring staff awareness. On the other hand, ** percent of respondents evaluated the effectiveness of spending on cyber security either by monitoring levels of regulatory compliance or by seeking senior management feedback. The use of cloud computing increased in recent years as well as the spending on cyber security. In addition, investments in cyber security varied with respect to the sector.
