In 2022, the average net selling value of electricity per kilowatt-hour sold in the United Kingdom (UK) amounted to 23.3 pence, the highest value in the period under consideration. The selling price of electricity was around four times larger than the one of natural gas, which was sold at 6.68 pence per kilowatt-hour in 2022.
