Inflation rates measure the speed at which consumer prices evolve. From January 2018 to January 2025, the monthly consumer prices for clothing and footwear products in Belgium evolved from minus two percent to over nine percent. During the coronavirus pandemic, the inflation rate of such products decreased in Belgium. 

In January 2025, the inflation rate for clothing and footwear products in Belgium was 3 percent. In other words, the consumer price index in January 2025 increased by 3 percent compared to the previous year, January 2024.
