In 2022, the total mass media market volume in Finland was approximately 3.9 billion euros. Between 2015 and 2019, the market volume increased annually, but did not reach the level of four billion euros as in the previous years.

The market value of publishing media decreased notably, as well as the market value of recorded media (physical video and audio recordings). At the same time, electronic media sales continued to increase steadily.
