This statistic shows the quarterly trend in the amount spent (sales value) on medical goods in Great Britain from 1st quarter 2015 to 2nd quarter 2024. Over the time period observed, sales within this sector generally increased, with an exception in the second quarter of 2020, when the index dropped to an all time low of 42.2 points. Sales value index stood at 129.2 points in the second quarter of 2024. 

The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100.
