This statistic shows the quarterly trend in the amount spent (sales value) on textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods in Great Britain from 1st quarter 2015 to 4th quarter 2022. During this period, retail sales fell sharply in the second quarter of 2020 and again in the first quarter of 2021, while COVID-19 containment measures were in effect. In the last quarter of 2022, sales value reached to an index point of 111.1.

The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2019 equal to 100.
