The personnel costs of the leather and related products manufacturing industry in Norway decreased by 0.7 million euros (-13.73 percent) in 2019 in comparison to the previous year. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded significant higher personnel costs than the preceding years.

It also includes taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the unit as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions. Personnel costs are made up of wages and salaries and employers' social security costs.
