The personnel costs of the total business economy, repair of computers, personal and household goods, except financial and insurance activities in Sweden saw no significant changes in 2020 in comparison to the previous year 2019 and remained at around 156976.5 million euros. In comparison to 2019, the personnel costs decreased not significantly by 322.2 million euros (-0.2 percent).
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
