The number of employees in the synthetic rubber in primary forms manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom increased by 60 employees (+63.83 percent) since the previous year. Therefore, 2017 was a significant increase in the number of employees in this industry. Nevertheless, the last two years in this industry recorded a significant lower number of employees than the preceding years.
According to Eurostat employed persons are all persons aged 15 and over who performed work, even for just one hour per week, for pay, profit or family gain during the reference week or were not at work but had a job or business from which they were temporarily absent because of, for instance, illness, holidays, industrial dispute, and education or training.
