In 2012, the turnover of the tobacco product manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom increased by 1.5 billion euros (+12.69 percent) since 2011. With 13.5 billion euros, the turnover thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Over the observed period, the turnover has been subject to fluctuation.
Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
