The production value of the chemicals and chemical products manufacturing industry in the United Kingdom increased by 1.9 billion euros (+6.14 percent) since the previous year. In total, the production value amounted to 33.1 billion euros in 2018. This increase was preceded by a declining production value in this industry.
The value of production is defined by Eurostat as the amount actually produced by the unit, based on sales, including changes in stocks and the resale of goods and services.
