In 2023, holiday and other short-stay accommodation services accounted for the highest number of travel accommodation establishments in Greece. That year, there were 18,356 such establishments in the country, as well as 10,215 hotels. Overall, the number of tourist accommodation establishments in Greece totaled nearly 29 thousand in 2023, remaining significantly below the figures recorded before the COVID-19 pandemic.
