Modern M2M communication has expanded far beyond a one-on-one connection and has developed into a system of networks that can transmit data to personal appliances. The value of connecting people from all over the world in one network has been recognized by many industries and M2M is now used in sectors such as agriculture, the military, government, and the health sector.
