This survey shows the change in attitude of consumers towards small local retailers (e.g. local butchers, farmers markets, corner shops) in the year following the occurance of horse meat in food products in Great Britain. Of respondents to the survey (conducted December 2013), 46 percent said the scandal had made no difference to thier impressions of small retailers. For the remaining 54 percent, the larger majority rated their impressions between 6 and 10 on the scale (10 being 'considerably improved').
