This statistic illustrates the domestic United States shale gas production by region in 2010 and with a projection for 2035, measured in trillion cubic feet. In 2010, the Northeast produced some 0.64 trillion cubic feet of shale gas. In 2035, the same region is expected to produce some five trillion cubic feet of shale gas.
