* The global online survey was conducted with 4,700 respondents in 7 countries. Part of the sample in each country included 'elites'. Sample sizes were as follows; The United States (n=1,000, elites: n=100), Brazil (n=500, elites: n=100), China (n=500, elites: n=100), India (n=500, elites: n=100), Indonesia (n=500, elites: n=100), Korea (n=500, elites: n=100), and the United Kingdom (n=500, elites: n=100). An identical survey was administered by telephone in South Africa with 300 respondents, 50 of which were classed as elites.
** Classification of elites: high income/wealth, highly educated, regularly follow current events.

This statistic shows survey respondents views in the United States and globally as to whether wireless mobile technology has made their country a more or less efficient place to do business as of 2012. Through the survey it was found that 20 percent of respondents in the United States thought wireless mobile technology had made the United States a much more efficient place to do business.
