Initially founded as a radio broadcasting network, the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) has grown over the years to become one of the biggest television networks in the United States. Over half of Americans watch some sort of ABC program on a weekly basis, while 30 percent tune into the network daily. Interestingly, a large share of American voters considers the network to be somewhat left-leaning on the political spectrum; nearly half calling it either very or somewhat liberal. This perception has led some to distrust the network, with ** percent of Republicans even going so far as a call the network an enemy of the American people.
