The commercial sector corresponds to the small light and power consumers.
Commercial is not wholly comparable on a year-to-year basis due to changes from one classifcation to another. For the 2004 period forward, the Energy Information Administration replaced the 鈥淥ther鈥 sector with the Transportation sector. The Transportation sector consists entirely of electrifed rail and urban transit systems. Data previously reported in 鈥淥ther鈥 have been relocated to the Commercial sector, except for Agriculture (i.e., irrigation load), which have been relocated to the Industrial sector.
