Perception of China and the U.S. as positive influencers of world affairs 2026
According to a survey conducted by on world affairs, around ** percent of respondents from surveyed countries in Asia Pacific thought that China would have a positive influence on world affairs over the next decade. Only ** percent of respondents from the same region believed that the U.S. would have a positive influence on world affairs. Outside of North America, a higher share of respondents believed that China would have a positive influence on world affairs compared to the United States.
