Between May 2020 and April 2022, real estate prices in French seaside resorts increased significantly. Prices rose by more than ** percent in the coastal municipalities of three regions: Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Brittany, and Normandy. Conversely, a price increase of only **** percent can be observed in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
Since the health crisis, real estate prices have risen sharply in seaside resorts in all regions of France located by the sea.
