Urban area: an urban area or "large urban area" is a group of municipalities, contiguous and without enclaves, consisting of an urban center (urban unit) with more than 10,000 jobs, and rural municipalities or urban units (suburban ring) where at least 40 percent of the resident working population works in the center or in municipalities attracted by it.
The source adds the following information: "Measures the balance of power between demand and supply in an area at a given time.
A positive ITI indicates excess demand compared to supply and therefore an upward trend in volumes and prices. It is thus a leading indicator (6 to 12 months) of market evolution.
