Mexico venture capital investment value by state in 2019
In September 2019, the federal entity with the highest percent of accumulated venture capital investment in Mexico was, by a very large margin, Mexico City. Up to that date, about ** percent of such investments had been allocated to projects in the Mexican capital. Meanwhile, around *** percent of the financing had been designated for investments in the states of Jalisco and Nuevo León. The most common venture capital fundraising strategy in Mexico corresponds to early-stage funds.
