The U.S. streaming channel Netflix received a total of Emmy nominations in 2024, regaining the lead it had lost in previous years to HBO/HBO Max. Among the on-demand video service programs vying for an Emmy at its edition are three of the most nominated series for the awards in 2024: The Crown, Ripley, and Baby Reindeer. FX and HBO/HBO Max ranked second and third. Other platforms such as Apple TV, Disney+, and Prime Video are also among the most recognized by the U.S. Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2024, surpassing in some cases more traditional channels regularly present at these awards like CBS, ABC, or Fox, which is not even among the top 10 most nominated that year.
