In 2022, Spaniards spent an average of around U.S. dollars on the Extraordinary Christmas Draw of State Lotteries and Betting. By autonomous communities, the people of Castile and León were the highest spenders. With about U.S. dollars per inhabitant, they exceeded the spending of the people of La Rioja by just over eight U.S. dollars. At the other end, the inhabitants of Ceuta and Melilla spent less than U.S. dollars on average.
