Of the 6,275 women victims of domestic violence registered with the National Federation Solidarity Women (FNSF) in 2019, nearly half reported being able to rely on their family. The circle of friends is also an important support for women victims of domestic violence, as nearly one-third reported having turned to a friend or close person. However, 24 percent of the victims told FNSF members that they felt very lonely and had no one or no service to turn to.
