This statistic shows the distribution by type of radio network of listeners in Spain in 2023, according to age group. The majority of listeners of thematic informative radio networks that year were between 45 and 54 years old, a segment that accounted for around one-fifth of the audience. Meanwhile, although the proportion of young people aged 20 to 24 who listened to the radio during 2023 was low regardless of the type of network, music-themed stations slightly predominated in this regard. Approximately 6.5 percent of listeners of these networks belonged to this age group, while for generalist stations, for example, they accounted for only 3.2 percent of the audience.
