With a time of 2:06:25 at the 2022 Seville Marathon, athlete Ayad Lamdassem improved his own Spanish record. In third place was Julio Rey, a Spanish legend with a personal best of 2:06:35 (Hamburg 2006). Hamid Ben Daoud, who achieved a time of 2:06:52 in Valencia 2021.
