In 2024, the overall CPI in Spain increased by 2.8 percent compared to the previous year. Although the food and non-alcoholic beverages category reached the highest CPI, it was not the one that experienced the largest annual variation. That position was held by the restaurants and hotels category, which recorded an increase of 4.8 percent.
