In December 2023, approximately one million tourists from abroad arrived in Catalonia. This represented an increase of about 206,000 travelers compared to the figure recorded during the same month of the previous year. However, the best data of the year, as is usually the case, was obtained in the summer and, more specifically, in July. The number of international tourists who visited this Spanish region during that month was around 2.3 million .
