In 2023, the value of production of civil engineering construction works in Mexico exceeded *** billion Mexican pesos. More than ** percent of this value was allocated to urbanization and transportation works. The second most important segment for civil engineering projects in Mexico that year was oil and petrochemicals, with a construction value of nearly billion Mexican pesos.
