This statistic represents the distribution among rolling tobacco, cigarettes, and other types of tobacco in tobacco sales in France between 2005 and 2024. There is a noticeable decrease in the share of industrial cigarettes sold, representing ** percent of sales in 2005, but ** percent in 2024. Conversely, the share of rolling tobacco sales in total tobacco sales increased between 2005 and 2024. These changes can be attributed to the increase in the price of cigarettes, causing both a shift to other products and also tobacco cessation, which can be observed with the decrease in total quantities of tobacco sold.
