This statistic represents the average gross monthly amount of direct entitlement pensions according to the main retirement scheme at the end of 2022. For former private-sector employees who contributed to the general scheme, the average pension amount was U.S. dollars. It was under this scheme that the largest proportion of retirees was found in 2022, far ahead of the share of people receiving a pension from special schemes. Civil servants of the State received an average of U.S. dollars gross per month.
