Gonorrhea (also called blennorrhagia or gonorrhea) is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection. This chart shows the distribution of patients diagnosed with gonorrhea in France in 2021, according to sexual orientation. Among the patients diagnosed with this infection, nearly ** percent were homosexual men. Overall, men are more affected by this infection. However, heterosexual women were more numerous (** percent) than heterosexual men among the diagnosed patients.
