Even though we have identified more than 150 start-ups, their activity is still in the early stages. - Investment therefore mainly comes from companies, particularly through R&D. - Recent announcements by President Emmanuel Macron as well as the fundraising carried out in 2017 should lead to an expansion of start-up investments in 2018. - At the same time, companies will face two major obstacles: the implementation of the GDPR and the potential impact of Artificial Intelligence on their organization and human resources."
