Volume is measured in the number of parcel items up to 31.5kg (domestic, outbound, or inbound); all volumes are allocated to the carrier with commercial ownership of the customer. Sub-contracted volumes are to be removed (as much as possible) to avoid double counting. In case of import, the delivery of the parcel from the gateway to the consignee is attributed to the operator with responsibility for the last-mile delivery.
