In 2021, at the 5G auction in Portugal, monitored by ANACOM, the telecommunications supplier NOS invested the highest amount in acquiring 5G lots of multiple frequencies, namely over 165 million euros. Vodafone and MEO followed, while Digi Portugal, a new entrant in the market, invested 67.3 million euros in the auction.
