In 2023, a large majority of a survey respondents among employees of German companies dealt with the security vulnerabilities of their open source software (OSS) by informing their cybersecurity experts. At the same time, ** percent of respondents reported working directly to fix the vulnerability. In addition, nearly ** percent of respondents stopped the use of the affected products after finding out about a security vulnerability.
