As of April 2025, solo artist IU held the record for most songs that achieved perfect all-kills (PAKs) on South Korean music charts, with 21 songs. This put her far ahead of the rest of the industry, with boy group BIGBANG coming in second with seven songs. Her most recent song to achieve this was her 2024 single "Love wins all".
PAKs are achieved by songs that remain at number one on all major Korean music charts providing real-time data (iChart, MelOn, YouTube Music, Genie, Flo, Naver VIBE, and Bugs!) simultaneously. One hour of doing so counts as one PAK, meaning one PAK equals to one hour of the same song dominating all major charts at the same time. While PAK achievements are not an officially recognized metric within the industry, they tend to be used among fans as a measure of combined fan and general public popularity of a given song.
