In the school year 2022/2023, 41 percent of at-risk youth that were enrolled in one of the state youth development units in Israel were aged 16–17 years. This age group accounted for the majority of enrolled youth at risk. Following closely were those aged 18–19 years, with a share of 37 percent. Only two percent of the youths enrolled in the programs were between the ages of 12 and 13.
