ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations and is a political and economic union composed of ten member states, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar.
Corn production in ASEAN countries has increased since 2013, rising from about **** million metric tons in 2013 to around **** million metric tons in 2022. The peak production year was 2017, with ** million metric tons; however, it subsequently decreased to around ** million metric tons in 2018.
