In 2024, 363 new immigrants arrived in Israel from countries in Africa. Compared to the previous year, when the number of immigrants from the continent was 426, this was a slight decrease. The country from which most immigrants arrived that year was South Africa, with 265 individuals. Ethiopian immigrants were the second largest group, entering the country with 56 immigrants.
