ESG disclosure review of portfolio firms by asset managers' in Latin America 2022
In 2022 in Latin America, most asset managers, regardless of their size, reviewed the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures of portfolio companies. Over half of large-sized asset managers reviewed all types of companies, while about a quarter focused only on certain industries. These numbers were lower for medium and small-sized asset managers, which had a greater tendency to review ESG disclosures for specific companies or industries that carried more weight in their portfolios.
